Desolate Road
Winter has fallen,
And In between this desolate road,
I stand.
And just as the white rain
that playfully dance before my silhouette,
just when I think it's within my grasp,
it forever dissipates.
Again I stand,
a lonely figure
sniveling through this barren road;
finding that the wonders of this world
has a mortality beyond what we can
or should understand.
And on this coldest of days,
With the bitter white pour,
falling increasingly on my traveled facade,
---infusing into the very seams of my soul,
I stood no more.
But as my heart surrendered,
As the Light within fluttered,
Willing to embrace
